Overview
Pointe-Noire is the centre of the Republic of the Congo's oil and gas industry, and the Group's industrial services division operates there. The work covers valve and pipe maintenance and repair, onshore and offshore maintenance, sandblasting and industrial painting.
This is the part of the portfolio furthest from the Group's trading origins, and it exists because the Group was already established in Pointe-Noire with warehousing, vehicles and people on the ground. Industrial services in an oil town demand local presence and the ability to mobilise quickly, both of which the Group already had.
